AWARD WINNER #1 RICK JOHNSON

Rick Johnson’s “Slightly Twisted” ’60 Chevy straight-axle car was the winner of a limited Edition Drag Racing Online hat for best reaction time for the first round of No Box. Johnson’s time was actually equaled by two other competitors but the rule is the first to do the deed is the winner            

FRIDAY SPORTSMAN RESULTS

There are more than just feature cars at Cordova Dragway Park, more than just the stretch-limo crowd. A full slate of brackets plus the wacky little Junior Dragsters complemented the show and we’re here to tell you all about them and now presenting day one’s finals and final round notes for your dancing and dining pleasure.

As you know from last night’s closing posting, we informed you of the Nostalgia Super Stock and Stock/Super Stock eliminations and final. If you haven’t seen it, then for God’s sake go back and look it over. Your intrepid booze-softened staff worked hard to get you the info.
