Gainesville, GA's Tony Hatfield was making a test pass Oct. 23, at Atlanta Dragway in his black and blown '68 GTO when things went suddenly bad about half-track. Fortunately, Hatfield was uninjured in the crash, but the Goat obviously didn't fare so well.  (Ian Tocher photos)  [10-27-2004]
