WHO GIVES A PUCK?

Due to Philadelphia's victory over Tampa Bay in game six of the NHL playoffs, ESPN2's coverage of Saturday qualifying for this weekend's NHRA Route 66 Nationals at Chicago has been rescheduled for 10 p.m.-midnight (ET). Qualifying coverage will begin on ESPN2 immediately following Game 7 of the Lightning-Flyers series. ESPN2's coverage of eliminations on Sunday will air as previously scheduled, from 7-10 p.m. (ET).

Well, at least DRO's resident goalie, Ian Tocher, will be happy. [5-21-2004]

Pro Mod/ Pro Stock driver ěTrickieî Rickie Smith was out testing his brand new Jerry Hass built Cavalier at Gateway International Raceway on Wednesday of this week. On the first pass he went and 6.85 and then on the second pass he went 6.82 at only 201 mph. The agent talked to Smith at the track who told him that on the 6.82 the car could have easily gone into the 6.70 zone.
