DUPUY CONDITION WORSENS
Doctors treating Wayne Dupuy have discovered a previously
unseen skull fracture which may have caused brain damage
to the Snap-on Tools dragster crew chief.

"He
was talking to us last night and he was forming complete
sentences but he'd ask the same thing over and over,"
said team owner/driver Doug Herbert. "The doctors
were a little concerned about his behavior so they did
some more extensive CAT scans and found a fracture.
"The current prognosis is that he'll need to relearn
how to walk and talk. He'll have to learn how to eat on
his own. The rehab will be a lot more extensive than we
had thought," Herbert continued. "Wayne's our
guy and we love him and we'll get through this together."
Notes of support can be emailed to Dupuy at GetWellWayne@DougHerbert.com.
The entire staff of DRO sends our best wishes to Dupuy,
his family and teammates. [11-29-2005]
OSMAN WINS TOP FUEL HYDRO NATIONAL
CHAMPIONSHIP
As
you probably know, the World Headquarters for giant DRO
Magazine is located near St. Louis, so the Agent has a
soft spot in his heart for St. Louis racers. One of those
racers is Lou Osman who has furnished the plumbing for
most of the professional cars in the area for many years
and spent a large amount of the his own money to fund
and race a Top Fuel Hydro. He no longer drives, but still
fields his own Blown Fuel Hydro and this year he won the
IHBA Top Fuel Hydro World Championship. A tip of the Agent’s
Cardinal’s cap to Lou, his tuner “Famous”
Amos Satterlee and the rest of his “Lou Crew.”

SAVING
POSTAGE?
Legendary (at least to those
who know him) photographer Jim Kelly sent the Agent this
all-purpose seasons' greeting. We thought we'd pass it
along to you. [11-29-2005]
