Roy Hill's Drag Racing School has signed a three-year
contract to conduct classes on Sundays and Mondays following
ADRL national events. In addition, any fan purchase made
in ADRL's merchandise area, the Adrenaline Zone, will
qualify the purchaser for a chance to win a spot in one
of Hill's classes or a ride in the school's two-seat dragster.
"We have also built a new Outlaw Pro Mod car specifically
for Pro Extreme competition, and we'll be gunning for
the 2006 ADRL world championship," said Hill. [12-05-05]

ANDREACCHI SELECTED AS OSCA
DRIVER OF THE YEAR
Ralph Andreacchi from Maple, Ontario, Canada, was selected
as the 2005 Ontario Street Car Association's Driver of
the Year. Andreacchi, who posted a runner-up finish in
the season long points battle, hopes to set up one more
spot and capture the title in 2006. Ralph posted one win
and three runner-up finishes during the 2005 season in
his Skull Motorsports Outlaw Street/Pro Modified '53 Studebaker.
He also set the OSCA Outlaw Street performance records
of 6.45 seconds at 219 mph. Those numbers are pretty impressive
for a car that sports muffled headers and tips the scales
at 2900 lbs. [12-05-05]
