In searching through the tons of
paper he brought back from the PRI Show in Orlando, the
Agent found this card from the absent Barry Grant. The
back of the card reads, "I'm sorry I missed you.
This is the only PRI Show I've not attended. I'm recovering
from back surgery and expect to be fully recovered soon.
However, if you're one of the few I don't care to see,
it's a pleasure not to have to endure your presence."
Sorry, Barry, it's a slow time of

REHER-MORRISON TO HOLD ENGINE
SCHOOL
The Reher-Morrison Racing Engines technical school will
be held five times in 2006. It features classroom and
hands-on

learning
in the R-M engine shop in Arlington, TX. The curriculum
includes precision measurement, engine assembly, component
selection and more. Students will take part in a dyno
session. Cylinder head theory and demonstrations on a
flow bench will be covered by Darin Morgan, and David
Reher and Bruce Allen are scheduled to appear. Dates for
the two-day classes are Feb. 18-19, March 25-26, June
3-4, July 8-9, and Oct. 14-15. For more information contact

SHELBY IN THE NEWS AGAIN
Carroll Shelby will auction off the right to purchase
the first 2007 Shelby GT500 Ford Mustang at the Barrett-Jackson
Collector Car event on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006. The auction
is run in conjunction with Firebird Raceway’s traditional
test session and recently has attracted both drag racers
and drag cars to the event. Proceeds from the no-reserve
sale benefit the Carroll Shelby Children's Foundation.
