ADRENALINE THE MAGAZINE
The Agent thought you might like an advance look at the
newest drag racing print magazine coming on the scene.
Here is the cover of the first edition of the American
Drag Racing League's house organ, Adrenaline. It is at
the printer as this is being written and the first issue
will be on sale at the ADRL's first event of the season
at Hattiesburg, MS February 25-27. There will be six issues
of Adrenaline in 2005. For advertising information call

ELLIOTT NEEDS SOME BACK-UP. DON'T WE
ALL?
Veteran drag racing freelance writer and photographer "Flyin'
Phil" Elliot recently suffered a break in and burglary
at his townhouse in Carson City, NV. The thief came in
while Elliot was at work and ransacked his home taking,
among other items, his laptop computer and digital camera.
Besides all of the unfinished articles on the laptop and
the images in the camera, Elliot also lost the novel he
was writing which was also on the laptop. Unfortunately
for Elliot, he hadn't backed up the contents of the computer.
As a writer who has lost work when a computer crashed,
the Agent can imagine the anger and helplessness Elliot
must be feeling. If you want to help, contact him at Flyinphil32@earthlink.net. [2-18-2005]

on the brand new RJ Race Cars-built Cobalt
produced a respectable 6.477 @ 216.03. From there the team
went to work testing the new car and new Sonny Leonard
engine for the next four days. Full passes included: 6.477
@ 216.03, 6.433 @ 216.60, 6.447 @ 217.70, 6.449 @ 217.81,
6.461 @ 217.44, 6.444 @ 217.91, 6.434 @ 217.81.
"Over all we are happy with our first test session," said
owner and driver Rick Jones. "Our goal was to get
some data to bring back to RJ Race Cars on the new chassis
design, try different 4-links, make some runs with the
3-disc clutch, and learn about the tune up on the new Sonny's
engine. We may not have set the world on fire but we did
what came to do, and we'll go back to the shop, work and
on everything, make it better, and then we'll try to go
as fast as we can when we test again in about three weeks
in Rockingham." [2-18-2005]
