DOUBLE DUTY
Former Central Illinois promoter, Ron Evans, sent a few
photos of his new ride which the folks at Chris Duncan
Race Cars and the Tin Man have worked some magic and made
dual purpose: a fuel altered and a flopper. Evans
says he will run Pro Top Outlaw with the big blower and
off board starter.
"We've got some booked in deals with the F/C but
that's the only time we'll put the ZR-1 body on," Evans
said, "and we're really looking forward to some FA
action somewhere!"
The Agent will keep an eye out for the car at Gateway
Int'l Raceway. [3-21-2005]
THE ATLANTA LOWE-DOWN?
The latest rumor out of the Atlanta area is that, because
Home Depot now has a store near Atlanta Drag way, Lowes
is trying to buy the track and turn it into a Lowes center.
It seems

as though every time a Home Depot opens up,
Lowes is not far behind, trying to get a site near the
competition.

Checking the current prices for his vast collection of Billy
Meyer IHRA memorabilia, the Agent came across the listing
on eBay for Southern Dragway in Nicholls, GA. Asking price
$1.2 million. Uh, will you accept a personal check for that?
