if the car is repairable it won't take more than a couple
of weeks for the chassis to be repaired. In the meantime,
the Bareman brothers have delivered their '53 Vette to Oddy's
shop in Elma, NY with fresh Summit livery on the car. The
team will debut the newly painted 'Vette with Steve Bareman

Morgan Lucas and Ron Capps jumped into the digital battle
showing off the new NHRA Championship Drag Racing game for
the PlayStation®2 platform. Capps was part of the development
team for ValueSoft’s VSE Games during the production
and the more realistic images have come quite a distance
from previous drag racing simulation games. The game also
contains most of the current Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro
Stock teams. DRO’s crack team will be testing the
new game as soon as a review copy becomes available, the
game will be shipped to retailers in mid-August.
From what we saw of the game, every racetrack looks like
standing room only crowds -- if only real dragstrip grandstands
were this easy to fill. (Darr Hawthorne
