GOING OUT OF BUSINESS SALE!!!
We've
lost our lease, the liquidators say everything must go regardless
of the losses!! O.K. Now that we've got your attention, here's the
deal. DRO
has some new neat products for you to buy through our secure online
store to help pay the DRO staff's monthly bar tab over at the
Living Room Lounge. First we've got these nifty T-shirts from F. Robert
(Berserko Bobby) Doerrer. They are the newest versions of the Bob's
Berserko Lounge shirt made famous by himself in the ’60s and ’70s.
Bob geared up and made a limited run and DRO bought a couple of dozen
XL and XXL. No telling when Bob will sober up and do this again, so
order yours now.
How
about a nifty lid from DRO? These are too cool and we've reduced the
price to just $15. Get them while they last. And finally we bought
a bunch of Chris Martin's "Top Fuel Handbook" and had him
autograph each one individually. He also included a message along
with the autograph and no two are the same or even legible. Own a
unique piece of drag racing memorabilia. Go to the DRO/CRO Store to
order.
One
of the perks for Agent 1320 is that occasionally he gets loot. One of
the coolest items he's gotten lately is this diecast model. The Tony
Nancy front motored fueler comes from 1320 inc. It is 1:24 scale and
it is ultra detailed and ultra cool. If you want one go to www.1320inc.com
and order. There were only 5,000 made, so hurry.

The Agent has been sent this Cristen Powell fuel coupe model. The detail
and paint is outstanding and almost everything except the engine is
operable and I do mean everything. Call toll-free 1-888-69NITRO to order
this.
A HOLE IN ONE FOR BACH

Midwest nostalgia Top Fuel stalwart Larry Gould ran into some major problems
at the recent ADRA race at Cordova. After driver Fred Bach posted a decent 6.29
at 229 mph in qualifying, it looked like all systems go for the Belleville,
Illinois team. But a big blowup at 900 feet in first round action spelled big
trouble. It was lights out at the boom for Bach, who crossed over and brushed
against Denver Schutz's car, eventually ending up upside once his car came to
rest. Post debacle inspection revealed a slightly dinged chassis and a four-inch
section blown out of the side of the cylinder head. Gould, who admitted to blowing
up his share of stuff in a thirty plus year career, claimed to have never seen
anything quite like this particular blowup. The team was slated to attend the
ADRA Darlington go, but may have trouble keeping that date. (Tim Marshall photo)
