PANELLA BACK IN PRO RACING
This may be old news to some of you, but the Agent just learned that the primary backers for the Scott Geoffrian Pro Stocker is the Bob Panella group, whose last foray into professional NHRA racing was in the Pro Stock Truck division. Aren't the Panellas the ones that just roasted NHRA for their actions in PSA? The Agent would like to be a fly on the tech trailer wall when this team gets teched. Surely there wouldn't be any hard feelings, the Agent reflects. [7-25-2002] ROY HILL AND KC SPURLOCK?
Roy Hill recently announced that he would be making his NHRA "farewell" tour in 2003 at the wheel of an NHRA Pro Mod. The Agent would bet that ol' Roy still has some driving left in him. Wonder if he will be having schools at the events where he runs Pro Modified? Hard on the news that Mr. Hill is returning to the driving ranks, the
Agent heard that former Fuel Coupe driver KC Spurlock has moved to Sophia,
NC to join forces with Roy Hill in promotion programs. Roy Hill and
KC Spurlock...kind of reminds you of Big Jim Dunn and Al Hofmann doesn't
