STILL STRANGE IN '04
For
the second year, Strange Engineering will sponsor
their NHRA Perfectly Strange Performance Awards
Program designed for NHRA Stock, Super Stock,
Super Comp, Super Gas and Super Street racers.
A $250 cash award goes to the first racer to
run right on his or her dial-in or index in
a winning round of competition during an NHRA
POWERade Series national event. There must be
an official NHRA Perfectly Strange Performance
Award decal on both sides of the car. If no

class, the amount rolls over to the next event
until it is won. If a racer also has Strange
Pro Race Axles and/or Strange Pro Race Struts
on the car, along with the proper NHRA/Strange
contingency decals, the cash award amount doubles.
In 2003, Strange paid racers 57 times, with
Stock Eliminator racer David Rampy claiming
the largest roll-over amount, $3,500, in one
event.
The NHRA Perfectly Strange Performance Award
decals are available from NHRA, your Division
office or Strange Engineering. For more details
