DRO GETS FRESHENED
Not to be outdone by the racers, DragRacingOnline
has taken itself into the shop and done a little
tweaking on its design and layout during the
off-season. We think the new look is cool and
we figure we'll get an extra two-tenths. A tip
of the Agent's hat to designer Matt Schramel
at StarPixel.com.

ARMY SENDS REINFORCEMENTS
TO AFGHANISTAN
Tony
"The Sarge" Schumacher, who pilots the United
States Army NHRA Top Fuel dragster, and Jerry
Nadeau, who drives the United States Army NASCAR
Winston Cup car, spent the New Year's holiday
week touring various military bases in Afghanistan,
while visiting with troops.
"It was an awesome experience," said Schumacher. "It was great to go over there and show our support. You really gain an appreciation for what these men and women are going through on a day-to-day basis. I truly respect each and every one of them for the commitment they have made to defend our country and freedom."
Schumacher and Nadeau both had an opportunity to participate in a number of activities ranging from shooting weapons to rides in Blackhawk helicopters to
driving tanks.
"All of those deals were phenomenal," related Schumacher, who heads for pre-
season testing next weekend at Firebird Raceway in Phoenix. "The technology
that the U.S. possesses is just remarkable."
But, man, those sand burnouts were rough. (file

ribs. His son was more severely injured with
a broken back, punctured lung, broken ribs,
