NITROFISH AND DRO JOIN FORCES;
BLATANT PROMO TO FOLLOW
The
Agent knows that everyone else knows about Ford
Pro Stock racer Scott Geoffrion's new Escort
is going to debut at Las Vegas and, in case
you haven't seen the new paint scheme, here
it is.
Here is a tidbit you didn't know, though. NitroFish is going to become the
official apparel of DRO and Agent 1320. Be looking for some really cool
stuff soon with both the Agent's logo and the NitroFish. The Agent
couldn't be happier to be hooked up with Bob Fisher's NitroFish people. If
there was ever a t-shirt that came with a "different perspective" it is the
NitroFish.
P.S. In case you haven't noticed, we also convinced
them to sponsor our resident beat poet, drag
racing historian and general curmudgeon Chris
Martin's column so we should be able to keep
him in ink and angst for the foreseeable future.

A NEW BODY FOR DICK MASKIN
The Agent hears that Dick Maskin's Chevy Cavalier
Pro Stocker will show up at Houston with the
2003 body panels that Kurt Johnson had and dominated
the Gainesville Pro Stock race with. The work
is being done at Jerry Bickel's Troy, Missouri
Pro Stock plant. [3-29-2003]
LAMPUS COMING BACK TO IHRA?
The Agent heard a pretty strong rumor that
former IHRA Top Fuel World Champ Don Lampus
is trying to put a deal together to get back
to competition with drag racing's junior circuit.
