ROMINE TO FINISH SEASON IN
CARRIER BOYZ DRAGSTER
Paul Romine and the Carrier Boyz Top Fuel Dragster team have agreed to join forces for the remainder of the 2003 POWERade Drag Racing season. CARQUEST Auto Parts will be the primary sponsor of the team.

of NHRA drag racing. "Jimmy (Walsh, crew chief)
has the car running competitive and I think
this partnership along with my continued backing
from CARQUEST Auto Parts will give me the best
shot for a NHRA win and a Top 10 POWERade Drag
Racing Series finish."
Mark and Andy Carrier are the sons of IHRA
founder and former Bristol Motor Speedway and
Dragway track owner Larry Carrier. In December
2002, they made the step into professional drag
racing with the purchase of a Top Fuel operation
from Doug Herbert that was formerly owned by

GRAY LEAVES WORSHAM RACING
Johnny Gray will be exiting the blue CSK Firebird
in a re-shuffling of the Worsham Racing team.
Phil Burkhart Jr. who was substituting for the
injured Arnie Karp, will switch over to Gray's
former ride and Cory Lee will move into the
seat of the Artisan Home Entertainment Pontiac.
