RED LINE OIL ADDS PRO STOCK
BIKE TO CONTINGENCY LIST
Red Line Synthetic Oil Company has added the
Pro Stock Bike category to its list of racing
classes as soon as the upcoming Mac Tools U.S.
Nationals in Indianapolis.
"We've seen the motorcycles gather increasing
interest at the National Event level," said
Tim Kerrigan, president of Red Line Synthetic
Oil. "It's only natural that we expand our participation
from the cars to the bikes. We have an incredible
product for these racers, and many of the top
teams are already using it, so it only makes
sense that we reward them for it."
Red Line Synthetic Oil will pay $250 to win
and $100 to runner up. Racers must display a
Red Line Oil decal and provide proof of purchase
of the product to qualify. [8-15-2003]
TOBLER TO WORK FOR KALITTA
Sources have confirmed to Agent 1320 that Shirley
Muldowney's husband and tuner, Rahn Tobler,
will indeed go to work for the Kalitta clan.
The way the Agent hears it, Tobler will crew
chief the Doug Kalitta team and the current
tuner for that team, Jim Oberhoffer, will move
over to the Scott Kalitta team. Agent 1320 believes
that Rahn Tobler, racing with a budget that
will allow him to step on the tune-up every
time it is required, will be a very dangerous
man in the world of NHRA Top Fuel. [8-15-2003]
