A pair of chutes are needed to slow down the 2350-lb Cobalt
after a near 200-mph pass. Goodyear Eagles help put the
ponies to the pavement. Mark Williams axles, spool, brakes
and related components and a 4.56 gear are part of the
package.
A full compliment of gauges in a stock-appearing dash
monitors the engine’s functions. A Hughes ‘glide
with a 1.69 low gear set, Hughes trans brake, and a Hughes
9.5 inch/7400 stall converter control the R-M power and
direct it through a Mark Williams drive shaft to the MW
axles.
