IKE HAMMA DIES August 25

Ike passed away Saturday, August 25, 2001 after battling cancer for the past couple years. He was the original inventor of the delay box and the consummate "thinker" for the sport of bracket racing and the "super classes." His Digital Delay brand delay boxes and timers are in thousands of drag cars around the country. Like the delay boxes or hate them, you have to admire the effect his inventions had on our sport.

He will be remembered as great guy who raced you hard and when it was over (or even during a race) he would be the first guy to come over and help rewire your car to fix the problems.
