ALUMINUM
SHINES LIKE CHROME WITH "SUPER SHINE"
Busch Super Shine Aluminum Polish is a revolutionary new liquid polish
that rapidly and easily creates a long-lasting shine on all common uncoated
aluminum surfaces — polished, machined, and even difficult-to-polish
diamond-plate. Oxidations, water spots, and streaks are easily removed
by hand, and unlike other polishes, Super Shine’s black buffing residue
wipes off easily. Super Shine also works excellently to restore the
shine to brass, copper, and stainless steel. Busch Enterprises also
makes a full line of top-quality buffing supplies. For more information
contact Busch Enterprises, Inc. Dept. DRO, 908 Cochran St., Statesville,
NC 28677, 704-588-2067.
2004R TRANSBRAKE FROM SCOTT McCLAY ENGINEERING
Scott
McClay Engineering has designed a transbrake for the 2004R GM transmission.
McClay modified a stock 2004R valve body and separator plate to an electric
solenoid apply transbrake valve body, keeping other shift functions
intact. The brake requires modification to the rear of the 2004R oil
pan. For more information contact Scott McClay Engineering, Dept. DRO,
21605 Brook Dr., Tehachapi, CA 93561, phone 661-822-8209.
MORE HP FOR 4.6 LITER FORDS FROM NOS
This
new nitrous oxide system from NOS delivers what owners of 4.6 modular-motor
Fords want: up to 150 more horsepower. The 4.6 Liter System (p.n. 05171)
is expressly designed for both the SOHC and DOHC versions of these highly
sophisticated engines and features NOS’ superior dry application technology.
Dry application means that while nitrous is injected into the intake
tract in the traditional manner, the extra fuel needed is introduced
by the stock fuel system. The benefits of this system are: more complete
combustion of the fuel by eliminating "puddling" of fuel in
the intake tract, and highly precise, predictable and reliable nitrous
use — no more worries about that "one lean cylinder." The
4.6 Liter System comes complete and ready to install, with all the electrical,
hardware, and plumbing required, plus a hefty "owners manual"
that fully details installation procedures and provides valuable tuning
and technical information. For more info, or to order the 2000 NOS catalog,

Mesa, CA 92626, 714-546-0592 or www.nosnitrous.com
OILING SOLID LIFTERS FROM ISKY
Oil
delivery to the cam lobe-face is critical to cam lobe / lifter life,
especially when higher valve spring pressures are employed. Isky Racing
Cams now has special oiling solid lifters which increase oil delivery
at all times to the cam lobe-face area. The new lifters are based on
Isky 202-H Chevy and 382-H Ford designs. A .024-inch oil hole is EDM’d
though the cam-face of the lifter and into the pressurized main oil
passage. For more information contact Isky Racing Cams, Dept. DRO, 16020
S. Broadway, Gardena, CA 90247-9990 or phone 323-770-0930 / fax 310-515-5730

BOTTLE SCALE FROM KOEHLER ENGINEERING
Koehler
Engineering has developed a super accurate scale to help racers using
nitrous systems accurately measure the amount of nitrous the engine
uses on each run down the track. This information is essential for getting
the engine tune-up just right in order to get the maximum horsepower
your nitrous system can deliver. The scale can handle weights up to
75 lbs. and is accurate to a half-ounce. Comes in a carrying case. Koehler
Engineering designs and installs custom nitrous oxide injection, fuel
management, and fuel delivery systems. For more information contact
Koehler Engineering, Dept. DRO,
