MSD DIGITAL-7 PLUS IGNITION CONTROL The MSD Digital-7 Plus combines the latest in digital ignition technology with MSDs race proven experience. The heart of the Digital-7 Plus Ignition is a 15 Megahertz microcontroller which can analyze up to 15 million critical instructions per second to produce the most accurate trigger signals and rev limits possible. The Digital-7 Plus provides two smooth rev limits, one for launch and another for top end overrev protection. For nitrous applications there is a single stage of retard and a start retard option to ease cranking on high compression race engines. There is also a diagnostic LED and an adjustment to compensate for different style magnetic pickups. All of these features are easy to adjust with rotary dials. State-of-the-art technology allows the 7 Plus, PN 7520, to produce more power while using less current. For more information on new MSD Ignition products contact:

EXPANDED SELECTION OR ARP HEADER BOLTS AND STUDS Automotive Racing Products (ARP®) offers performance enthusiasts a variety of fasteners engineered for exhaust headers, including both bolts and studs made of polished stainless steel or black oxide finish 8740 chrome-moly. Both are nominally rated at 170,000 PSI, substantially stronger than Grade 8 hardware. The studs serve to guide the header flange accurately into place and prevent damage to the gaskets, while they also feature a unique nut-starter nose that makes it easy to install the nut in the tight confines of an engine compartment. As a further aid to header installation, ARP offers compact 12-point nuts, which facilitate easy tightening by providing ample socket clearance. A number of 5.16 wrenching; 3/8 shank header bolts are also available. Advantages of the polished stainless steel studs and bolts include dressing up an engine compartment and not being affected by rust or corrosion. These properties also make it easier to remove the headers at a later date. For extra convenience, header bolts are also offered as a part of ARPs popular Engine & Accessory Fastener Kits, which contain a dozen fastener groups.
