MAXIMUM MUSTANG CONTROL ARMS
Maximum Motorsports new control arms for 1999-2000 Mustangs will improve handling while preventing damage to the body's torque boxes. More than three times stronger than factory arms, this race-proven design eliminates the deflection common to stock-type arms, without binding the rear suspension. A Teflon-lined spherical bearing combines with a three-piece urethane bushing at the chassis end to allow the greater angular motion necessary to prevent suspension bind. Direct replacements for factory arms, standard and adjustable versions are available for stock-diameter pivot bolts measuring 14 mm (for 1999 and new bodies) or 12 mm (1979-98). A black powder-coat finish resists corrosion. Send $3 (U.S.) for a Technical Catalog to Maximum Motorsports, Dept. DRO, 3430 Sacramento Dr., Unit D, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. Phone 805-544-8748 or visit www.maximummotorsports.com. M-W HIGH SPEED BALANCED DRIVESHAFTS
Mark Williams Enterprises has a new process for balancing driveshafts
in the final stage of the manufacturing process. The resultant precision
load-balanced driveshaft will reduce the radial force power required
to turn an eccentric shaft and will improve transmission and rear-end
live through a reduction in those harmful radial forces. This new process
is standard on all driveshafts manufactured by M-W Enterprises, including
mild steel street versions, chrome moly, aluminum (MMC) and carbon fiber
driveshafts for competition. The company can also precision speed-balance
any existing shaft, regardless of manufacturer. An 84-page catalog and
a handy plastic gear ratio computer are available by sending $5 (U.S.)
to Mark Williams Enterprises, Dept. DRO, 765 S. Pierce Ave., Louisville,
CO 80027. For more info call 800-525-1963 or visit www.markwilliams.com. |
