MUSTANG COWL INDUCTION HOOD FROM UNLIMITED PRODUCTS
Unlimited Products, makers of quality handmade fiberglass components, has added a 1983-86 Mustang hood with 2.25-inch high cowl induction scoop. Additionally, up to 9-inch height scoops are also available. The rear-facing scoop provides more underhood space when high-rise manifolds or keep air cleaners are added and it picks up air at the base of the windshield. The Mustang scoop is a direct replacement for an OEM steel hood, including provisions for stock hinges and the front latch. It features full inner bracing for maximum support, rolled edges on four sides to ensure a perfect fit, and weighs only 44 lbs. Front hood pin and full pin-on hoods types are also available.
