DRIVESHAFT SAFETY LOOP FROM LAKEWOOD
Required and approved by all major racing sanctioning bodies, this driveshaft safety loop from Lakewood is manufactured from 1/4" thick x 2" wide steel to positively contain the driveshaft in case of U-joint failure, eliminating the chance of serious accidents. The part number is #18017, and it fits 1979-2002 Mustangs. Featuring a bright zinc-plated finish to resist corrosion, Lakewood driveshaft safety loops provide easy bolt-on installation and include all mounting hardware. Dedicated applications ensure a custom fit, eliminating any vehicle modifications. Both NHRA and IHRA legal. For more information contact Mr. Gasket Performance Group, Dept. DRO, 10601 Memphis Ave., Unit 12, Cleveland, OH 44144. Phone 216-688-8300 or visit www.mrgasket.com/lakewood. SUPRA-FIN(tm) PROCESS IMPROVES RING & PINION EFFICIENCY
Mark Williams Enterprises has developed its Supra-Fin(tm) isotropic
finishing process. Initially offered for ring & pinion gears, the micro-polishing
process significantly reduces surface friction, allows for lower lubricant
temperatures and less gear wear. The process polishes the surface to
a chrome-like finish and virtually eliminates any machining marks. There
is no need to "break in" a gear set, and it eliminates the surface pulverization
that normally occurs, which creates chips, pitting and stress risers.
