Engineering Inc. has now released its 8-71 Superman Supercharger.
The industry leader in roots style superchargers adds the
8-71 K-11 Superman to its already impressive roster of products.
The Superman design, which went into production in early
2001 on 14-71 units for Pro Modified and Alcohol Funny Car,
brings the ultimate elements of performance to the supercharged
racing world. Where rules state that an 8-71 Supercharger
must be used, the Kobelco 8-71 Superman will provide the
greatest performance advantage. The unit will also make
for a better show for the fans, racers and governing bodies

DRIVESHAFT SAFETY LOOPS & TUNNEL
BRACE FOR ’05 MUSTANG
BMR
Fabrication offers NHRA-spec front and rear driveshaft safety
loops for the powerful ’05 Mustang. Made of strong
¼-inch thick by 2-inch flat bar, BMR Driveshaft Safety
loops bolt to the vehicle using existing mounting holes
– no welding or drilling is required. BMR’s
rear loop is mounted to a bolt-on tunnel brace that actually
improves ’05 Mustang chassis rigidity.
Several configurations are available: front driveshaft
loop, tunnel brace with rear driveshaft loop, tunnel brace
without rear driveshaft loop (but pre-drilled for BMR loop
installation), and loop upgrade for BMR rear tunnel brace.

SUPER QUICK SHIFTS FOR THE ’04
WRX STI
The
all-wheel-drive rally inspired Subaru WRX STi has lead the
charge of high-performance compact sports cars since its
release in 2004. Boasting 300 turbocharged horsepower and
a six-speed manual transmission, the STi is a Precision
Sport Shifter away from perfection.
In addition to offering more precise, positive shifts,
the Precision Sport Shifter cuts down drastically on shift
time through a 30% shifter throw reduction, which means
less lag between gears and improved turbo spool-up.
The STi shifter (PN 45192) is manufactured using B&M’s
two-piece stainless steel stick design, spherical lower
pivot bearing, aluminum mid-pivot point and is compatible
with the factory shift knob. In 90-minutes of wrenching,
STi owners can have improved shifts using simple hand tools
