XFI ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM

BBC 4.500" BORE HOLLOW DOME FORGED PISTONS

Manley Performance has expanded its Platinum Series of premium grade pistons with the addition of a hollow dome model for 4.500" bore big block Chevrolet applications.

The pistons are forged from high strength 2618 alloy aluminum. A 48cc dome provides compression ratios of 12.6:1 to 15.8:1, depending on the engine’s bore, stroke and combustion chamber size. The pistons are precision CNC-machined and have exact ring-groove-to-skirt squareness. Common features include standard 1/16, 1/16, 3/16" ring grooves, and a .300" intake valve notch. NEW "MERLIN X" BIG BLOCK CHEVROLET ALUMINUM BLOCK

World Products has released an new aluminum engine block for Big Block Chevy applications. It’s called “Merlin X” and it combines many track-bred features with a street-affordable price. The most noticeable external features of the block are the lengthwise reinforcing ribs. They serve a valuable function in both stabilizing cylinders and cooling. The water jackets have also been expanded for improved temperature control and cooling.

An important factor in the design of the “Merlin X” is its 100% compatibility with OEM Chevrolet Mark IV components, including camshaft and main bearings. SPEEDTECH NITROUS MULTI STAGE CONTROLLER

With all the traction limited class racing such as Outlaw 10.5, Extreme Street, Heavy Street and True Street becoming more popular a call has gone out to distribute nitrous in a more timely matter to add power, much like the Top Fuel cars locks up a clutch. Speedtech Nitrous has created a nitrous controller to help bring the horsepower to the track.

With this you're able to manually control from one to four stages of nitrous and a purge system or even electric shocks. The unit has inputs available for an arming switch, wide open throttle switch, trans brake interrupt, or clutch switch to activate the first stage of nitrous. Positive and negative outputs from the unit are also provided for timing retards. An optional timer delayed activation module and delay timer are available to turn on the first to fourth stages of nitrous at a pre-determined time interval after leaving the starting line.
