ALUMINUM 4.6/5.4 "MODULAR" FORD BLOCK

Racers and street enthusiasts wanting to build a 4.6 or 5.4L “Modular” Ford engine with performance enhancements now have a foundation in the form of this new aluminum block available from World Products. It is designed to provide engine builders with increased displacement potential and rock-solid support for power-adders, such as superchargers and nitrous oxide.

The block is made of rugged 356-T6 aluminum and available in both short (8.930") and tall (10.070") deck versions. With a bore of 3.700" (maximum safe) a 4.125" stroke crankshaft will produce a displacement of 354 cubic inches, and with a 4.500" stroke crank the 5.4 block can go to 387 c.i.d. (6.3L). INLINE TWINS – DEMON JUNIORS WITH BLOWER ASPIRATIONS

The first production In-line twin carburetors to be boost-referenced for Roots-style superchargers, the In-line Twins are available in 525, 625, and 725 CFM. By being properly boost-referenced, the power valves in the carburetors become load-sensing devices and respond precisely to the demands of the supercharged engine. Other design attributes include a vacuum-secondary street setup, compact, side-hung fuel bowls with sight glasses, two-corner idle adjustment, secondary metering plates, and a simple inline linkage.
