NEW TCI® PRO-X™ INPUT SHAFTS PROVIDE ULTIMATE IN STRENGTH FOR GM POWERGLIDE TRANSMISSIONS

These two input shafts, one for the standard Powerglide pump or TCI® gerotor pump (Part #743500) and one for the TCI® ringless gerotor pump (Part #743510) transmissions, eliminate input shaft breakage by incorporating unique proprietary construction material and a special heat-treating process.

The PRO-X™ ringless design input shaft (Part #749603) replaces the load-limiting internal rings with a special bushing and enlarges the diameter of the shaft for increased strength. Able to handle up to 2500+ hp applications, use of the TCI® ringless input shaft requires installation of a TCI® gerotor pump (Part #743510) for proper operation.

VP RACING INTRODUCES IMPROVED FORMULAS FOR C23TM FAMILY OF RACING FUELS

C23+ and C23++ were originally formulated to offer incrementally more protection against detonation than C23, which has a motor octane of 118.  “With this new formula, C23+ and C23++ will offer even more protection than before for engines with higher octane demands or compression ratios even higher than the 18:1 limitation of C23,” said Bruce Hendel, VP’s Global Sales Manager.
