“HOLLOW STEM” STAINLESS STEEL VALVES INTRODUCED BY MANLEY

The primary advantage of the hollow stem design is a reduction in overall valve weight —which is important for engine builders seeking optimum performance. It’s ideally suited for those applications where budgetary constraints or rule limitations preclude the use of titanium valves.

Hollow stem intake valves for LS1/LS6 applications are included in Manley’s Race Master series and feature the “Pro Flo” design with undercut stems. These valves will increase the intake flow significantly over the OEM design and also improve RPM capabilities.

Small block and big block Chevy, plus Gen II custom-sized hollow stem valves are in Manley’s industry-leading Severe Duty® family, featuring high heat NK-844 material specs.

New adapater kits make FAST™ LSX™ intake manifold compatible with 2005 & up Corvettes. The kit includes everything required to modify the firewall of your Corvette and provide proper clearance for installation of the patented LSX™ composite intake manifold.

MANLEY PLATINUM SERIES FORGED PISTONS FOR FORD 4.6L (3-VALVE)

Designed with a 6.5cc dish, the piston will provide a compression ratio of about 9.6:1 when used with a 3.543” stroke crankshaft and a cylinder head with 51.1cc combustion chambers. It’s available in 3.552”, 3.572” and 3.582” bore sizes.

Manufactured from 2618 alloy forgings, these lightweight aluminum pistons tip the scales as low as 352 grams. Design features include a 1.2mm offset wrist pin location (similar to OEM) for quiet start-ups, a pressure balance groove, and a fully banded skirt for increased stability.

Perfect ring groove to skirt squareness assures optimum sealing, with the piston machined for a 1.5mm, 1.5mm and 3mm ring package. The deck is .185” thick.

A tool steel wrist pin and round wire locks are included with each piston at no extra charge, making them an outstanding value as well.

INNOVATE MOTORSPORTS RELEASES SSI-4 SENSOR INTERFACE

The SSI-4 device is a simple sensor interface that adds 4 inputs to an MTS Log Chain. The SSI-4 may also be used as a stand-alone device for logging data directly into a laptop with the included LogWorks software.  In conjunction with an Innovate LC-1, a user can log 5 channels of critical engine data for less than $350.

Each of the four inputs of the SSI-4 can be user-configured for different functionalities with the included LM Programmer application.
