LET'S GET READY

Vacation is over. It's almost time
To drag them bad boys again up to the line.
Yep, testing's almost here; new cars ready to go,
So they're headin' to Vegas and Phoenix where it shouldn't rain or snow.

Now in the shop where the work is finishing up
Crews are working on cars and loadin' the trucks,
Formulating schedules for things they want to try,
From new blowers and manifolds to air in the tires.
Everything's tested and tested again,
Just so everything's ready when the real season begins --
Sorta like spring training for big league ball.
So, nothing's overlooked at Pomona when you hear start 'em, y'all.
Good luck to drivers and crews, everyone who puts it all on the line,
And keep safety and sportsmanship on everyone's mind.
