So Long, My Friend

The good die young, that's what they say.
An example of that happened this day.
Good to his family, good to his friends,
Good for the sport he participated in.

He never met a stranger; he seemed to know everyone,
This person I'm proud to call friend, Scott Geoffrion.
Needed some help? Hey, let's get 'er done --
That's what you'd hear from Scott Geoffrion.

His life was just like one of his 6-second pass,
It was pull down the seat belts and step on the gas.
But the laugh and that energy have now moved on.
Rest in peace, you'll be missed, Scott Geoffrion.
