Jim Yates will be bringing his engine program in-house keeping Bob Ingles as a consultant on their own dyno.

Mark Whisnant may be parking his Cavalier and it looks like Rickie Smith will concentrate on the Pro Mod series in 2005. Bob Panella and Scott Geoffrion will probably only run on the West Coast.

According to Larry Morgan, he'll still build HEMIs for V. Gaines and Kenny Koretsky, with all three of their cars having made strong horsepower advances this season. Two question marks are Ron Krishner and Mark Pawuk after Pawuk ends his long relationship with Summit Racing.

In Pro Stock Bike the Army plowed through Pomona again with Angelle Savoie beating fellow Suzuki and Schumacher Racing partner Antron Brown in the final, running a 7.036 at 188 MPH.

Wally Parks, the 91-year-old Founder of the NHRA, has been feeling better after missing the 50th US Nationals. Park not only attended the Finals, but also was part of a presentation with Tom Compton at the recent SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

It's going to be quiet for a while on the drag racing scene for the next thirteen weeks until the Pomona Winternationals. Lots of teams will be doing lots of work for the 2005 season, keeping everybody busy. Look for more announcements at the PRI show December 9-11 in Indy as new sponsorships and race teams solidify.
