PRO MODIFIED

Jeff Elam

Six Pro Mods were on hand, all World Series regulars. The two quickest cars advanced out of the first round, with Loren Braseth of Minneapolis, MN (6.85) and Doug Mills of Alchua, Fl (6.86) doing the deed. Others on hand, and their time slips were

  • Jeff Elam, Tipp City, OH: 7.05/205; 6.63/206
  • Steve Bareman, Holland, MI: 7.06/203; 6.58/211
  • Bill Graziano, Oak Forest, IL: 6.87/204; 6.94/191
  • Don Boerma, Tinley Park, IL: 7.08/194; foul-broke

For the PM crown, Braseth outran Mills, 6.65/210 to 6.80/179. The win made Braseth something not many racers can claim to be—a repeat Pro Mod World Series champ. Way to go, LB!
