Pre-season
testing at Las Vegas

Cruz Pedregon and Dave Grubnic were quickest in their
respective nitro-powered pro categories during "Last
Chance" pre-season testing at The Strip at Las Vegas
Motor Speedway.
Funny Car veteran Pedregon powered his Advance Auto Parts
Chevy Monte Carlo to a weekend best of 4.764 at 301.20,
while Aussie Dave Grubnic clocked a 4.552 at 321.88 in
his Zantrex-3 dragster to lead the Top Fuel contingent
at Las Vegas.
In Pro Stock testing, Mike Edwards led the way with a
6.783 in his Pontiac Grand Am. Mike Berry had the quickest
Pro Stock Motorcycle, clocking a 7.256 at 183.37 on a Suzuki.
Geno Scali, the 2003 POWERade Series world champ, had the
quickest motorcycle at Houston, clocking a 7.067 at 190.35
on his Trim Tex Suzuki.
