What's better than Spring Break in Florida? Well, if you're a Ford fan, it's the Fun Ford Weekend's 15th Annual Spring Break Shootout March 5-6 at Orlando Speed World.

In the Mr. Gasket Pro 5.0 Class, nine serious racers showed up to do battle. Chuck Samuel qualified #1 with a 6.659 at 215.62 mph. This made him eligible for the Mickey Thompson Tires Pro Challenge Lottery $1000 bonus if he won the event. It wasn’t to be however, so it will now be a $2000 M/T Bonus at the next event. The other qualifiers in Pro were Don Walsh, Jr., Dan Saitz, Mike Herring, Tom Jacobs, Ben Hopko, Chuck Simons, and Brit Floyd.

Brit Floyd of Fayetteville, GA brought his new '02 Mustang, but was out in the first round.

Pennsylvanian Ben Hopko's '96 Probe had one of the wildest paint jobs at the event.
