FUEL ALTEREDS FOR FUN AND PROFIT
This was the best match race action of the weekend, with
two evenly matched altereds fighting it out. Sean Belt's
Metal Mafia Racing Bantam took on Rapid Randy Baker's 23
T, which was on a good dose of nitro. Belt holeshot his
way to a win in the first round, his 7.15 @ 186.91 mph holding
off Baker's 7.00 @ 190.51mph. But Baker would return to
run an unopposed 6.99 to make him the quickest and fastest
driver at the event, bar none. Baker has become a fixture
at Midwest Nostalgia and nitro altered events, and is getting
better as the nitro percentage has gone up. Keep tipping
the can, Randy! Add some nitro when you're ready, Sean!
Sean Belt's Metal Mafia Racing altered
used a holeshot and a 7.15 / 186 mph pass to win his match
with Randy Baker.
Rapid Randy Baker upped the percentage
and had the quickest car on the grounds at 7.00 and 6.99.
