Much of the emphasis in Super Street Bike has
been on the forced induction setups, but Graham
Dance is looking strike a blow for the giggle
gas brigade and crack the seven second barrier.
The new chassis is very much in the shakedown
stage but the barrier will be busted even if
Dance has to wait for a new progressive nitrous
system to do so. |

Richard Sawatski was another reigning national
champ to win at the Summernationals, this time
in 9.50 Bike, his 9.568 being enough to hold
off Fred Furlong's 9.585 in a battle of the class
heavyweights.' |

Steve Carey came second in the two bike Top Fuel
field, but was beaming after putting a series of
worrying mid track wobbles behind him and getting
the Purple Princes PBR/Puma into the six second
bracket. |
