No. 7 qualifier Steve Wann (near lane), from Modesto, CA goes up against Joe Teuton Jr. from Louisiana to got the No. 13 spot. Hope Teuton's luck changes at Indy.	Chuck Comella's '68 Dart was 25th on the qualifying list with a 9.567. He is from Lyons, NY.
No. 18 Randy Warford (near lane) from Nashville versus Joey Wilkes, No. 5, from Zanesville, OH.	Johnny Kelley's No. 20 Barracuda (near lane) up against Darrell Marvel's 'Cuda, which ended up in the ten spot.
Dean Mink (near lane) from Cincinnati, was No. 19, with Rick Johnson from Litchfield, MN getting the 17 position.	David Barton, from Robesonia, PA, begins eliminations as No. 11 qualifier. He drives a '68 Dart.
