Moroso Motorsports Park was the site for their annual Citrus Nationals but Mother Nature had her own plans this year. After battling multiple downpours both days, the Nov. 25-26 event was rescheduled. The Murray’s Speed & Custom Mountain Dew Citrus Nationals will run on Saturday, Dec. 16, for the following classes: Super Pro, Pro, Pro Bike, Street Bike Jr. Dragsters and the Seminole Tribe Quick 16 as well as the NHRA King of the Track.

Here is a look at some of the action between rain drops.

Bruce Horner has had quite a year after recovery from a brain tumor.  He and his brother returned to the Citrus Nationals to defend their title.

Jeff Arend shoed Paul Smith's #1 Monte Carlo to a shut off 5.09 Saturday evening.  Smith said the car ran 256 to the eighth mile and Jeff shut off 3.7 seconds into the run when he could see the wall but not the  cones.  Paul Lee subbed for mike Smith who was unable to finish his cross over license runs.

The Shockwave thrilled the crowd and set the tower afire. . .again.
