Outstanding performance was the name of the game at the PSCA World Final event at California Dragway on Nov. 4-5. The mid-70's temp were picture perfect conditions for the over 250 street cars entered at the classic event in So Cal. Dominating the popular Pro Street class once again was the newly crowned Pacific Street Car Association World Champion Steve Paulauskis in the WFO gang’s Arizona-based Chevrolet Cavalier as he cranked out record ET's of 6.44, 6.46, and a 6.49.
PRO STREET Paulauskis, who had just returned from a quarter-final finish at the World Street Car Nationals in Orlando, FL, first ran a 6.49 on Saturday to become the first PSCA Pro Streeter into the 6.4 bracket. That time was plenty stout for Low ET qualifier, while Big Ed Thornton as usual was the fast guy in the Extreme ‘57. |
