"Flamin' Frank"

There were four jets present, two dragsters and two funny cars. Jessica Willard got the best of her opponent Ernie Bogue with laps of 5.19/303.30 and 5.16/304.39. Rich Hanna's flamin' funny ran laps of 6.042/268.60 and 6.051/268.12 and sent Lou Brookman to the trailer each time.

East Coast 'slammer racers Pat Musi and Vinnie Budano split their two races. Budano won the first race in his '63 split window 'Vette with a 6.544/214 to beat Musi's shutoff 7.164/163.45. Musi got a little revenge with a 6.625/213.16 win over Budano's 6.808/212.03 in the second race.

Veteran Pro Mod racer Mike Ashley was testing his '63 'Vette and made two laps going 6.441/199.08 and 6.475/216.58.

***Editors note. If any of the above info is wrong don't tell us, call Lewis Bloom. DRO begged him to do the story for us but he was too busy working for NHRA.
