Wren's small block powered '63 Chevy had earlier gotten
the low elapsed time of the meet for the radial tire cars with an awesome
8.826 pass in the quarter finals but just didn't seem to have the beans
to run with Swindoll in the final as his '63 could only muster a 9.327/156
which was nearly good enough to cover Swindoll's 9.027/161.63 pass.
CONCLUSION
You either "get" street-legal racing or you don't. If
you do, you either have to go to Orlando Speed World Dragway or read
about it in Drag Racing Online. Get it? Got it? Good.
