And it would be the more experienced of the two doing the deed in the final round. Troy Coughlin prevailed, running 6.92/198.44 for the win. Whisnant managed a 6.99/197.59 in defeat, but it was his best outing in a still-young career.

Don't look, however, for either man to suddenly become a dominant force in this eliminator. After all, that just isn't how things happen in modern-era Pro Stock racing. It's a lot like the lottery -- anyone can win, on any given ticket!
