STANDING OVATIONS
Sam Berardi got the
wheels up on his Super Street '57 Chevy.
Jamie Stanton didn't get as much air in his
2000 Camaro, but he did get the Pro Stock win.
|
Todd Goodwin debuted his Viper in Pro
Stock. |
Matthew Gilmore's supercharged '32 Bantam
roadster got the Open Outlaw win when John
Alberigi crossed the center line at about
400 feet. Gilmore was no slouch, though,
as he stormed to a fine 6.531/211.01 run.
The Open Outlaw class is very popular at
Bradenton. There are no blown alcohol dragsters,
rear engine dragsters must have a powerglide
and all motors must have a diaper. Funny
cars are allowed, but no screw blowers. |
