With a heads-up start against a 10.90 index, John Dustin (far lane) won the Hurst Hot Rod final in Rockingham with a 10.897-second pass over Steve Corker's 10.876.

The Hays Stock final went to Jack Zimmerman and his 1971 Challenger. Zimmerman went 10.546 on a 10.59 dial, compared to the 11.172 on an 11.23 dial by Chip Johnson in his '70 Nova.

Jim Harrington (far lane) dialed 9.78 and ran 9.807 to win the ACCEL DFI Super Stock final, while Stephen Jennings went 9.936 on a 9.89 dial.
A pair of 1970 Mavericks contested the Lakewood Super Rod final round, with the win going to Glenn Ferguson (far lane). Ferguson went 9.905 against the 9.90 SR index, while Greg Slack ran 9.917.

The Accel Quick Rod win belonged to Chuck Harris Jr. (near lane) after he ran 8.888 against the 8.90 index, and his opponent Brandon Jolley (who cut a .001 light!) went 8.886.

Stanley Albritton (far lane) earned the Mallory Top Dragster win over Bruce Holland by running 7.263 on his 7.26 dial, while Holland broke out with a 6.945 on a 6.95 dial.
David Lambert's 7.356-second pass on a 7.09 dial (far lane) was still good enough to win the Erson Cams Top Sportsman final against Steve Derosa, who had problems right off the start and never did get up to speed.
