“You gain a lot of feedback when you test,
and it sharpens your driving skills. When you
test, you can make six passes in one day. You’re
able to get information and gain a better feel
for the car.” -

the winner’s circle a bunch of time at
Topeka. He’s always been really strong

“This class is a game of inches, and we
came up short today. We will be taking my car
straight to Jerry Bickel’s shop to have
some unscheduled repairs made. Our group will
just pick up the pieces, lick our wounds and
be ready in Columbus. -
Jeg Coughlin, on missing the Pro Stock field
for the first time in 44 events
“It was good to be able to win some rounds
and get back into the top 10. Heck, we’re
only three rounds behind Scott Kalitta, and
he’s sixth. We have a match race scheduled
next weekend in Englishtown, and we plan to
use that as a test session so we can get the
motor tuned up to go racing again at Columbus.”
