Gullett, from Jacksonville, Fla., who was the first Pro 5.0 driver
to break the 200-mph barrier, qualified his turbocharged Mustang Number
1 with a 7.074/198.52 pass. His 206.73 during eliminations also gave
him top speed of the meet.
In the Pro Street Outlaw class Mike Murillo (photo) San Antonio, Tex.
('89 Mustang) ran 8.003/175.62 to defeat Dan Mullen, Dearborn, Mich.
('92 Mustang) 8.015/173.83
