HEMI? HAH!
In your SONNY LEONARD article that is NOT
a true HEMI. That's OK as you kind of explained
that ... BUT that picture of Jon Kasse working
on a Ford HEMI???? DUDE that is a PRO Stock
dominating 351 Cleveland in THAT Picture!
Are you guys really THAT clueless about other
motors besides Bowties? I mean I can tell
a Big block Chevy motor from a small block.
Man your credentials just went flyin out the
window. Do us all a favor STUDY before you
print something. Hey why not visit Jon Kasse
next week and find out what he has in store?
Or a Mopar guru? Is your toilet seat painted
Bowtie orange? Are you excited that Sonny
is bolting a set of MOPAR or FoMoCo heads
on a bowtie? I know if I were a bowtie guy
I would hang my head. Actually, I like all
brands of race motors, and I do race myself,
BUT PLEASE look at what you print! Actually
back in the DAY Grumpy probably thought the
351C was a Ford big Block, it sure ran like

HEAVY HEMIS
The reason HEMI's have not been competitive
in Pro Stock for 20 years is because of weight
penalties. They only lifted them a few years
ago (shortly after which the new Dodge HEMI
Pro Stock motor appeared). Twenty years is
a long time for development of the inferior
un-hemi engines to catch and pass the old
hemi design.
This is typical amnesia by the chevy left
wingers. Why do you think Glidden went to
Ford? He did so right after NHRA weight penalized
the HEMI into non-competitive status. They
ALL left Dodge because of that. Until then,
the HEMI's were dominant in Pro Stock, then
overnight they were "no longer competitive".
Yea, uh huh, nothing obvious there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The record holders in Super Stock A and AA
are still HEMI's, how does that square with
your articles assertions?

First off parker is a damn annoying geek.
When john force told him on tv "parker, you
suck" he was not kidding. I just watched the
nhra awards show and parker is just to damn
goofy. Marty on the other hand is A DAMN BORE!
