It's obvious to me and countless others that the NHRA
does not want to include or present Pro Modified as a professional
category. It has shunned all efforts to have it added at every
turn. Yet, what is Mike Ashley thinking when he says, "I
think NHRA has given the Pro Mod class a boost and I would
like to see that continue." (DRO 11-14-05). Huh? What?
Is he, and are others, drinking the NHRA Kool-Aid? Hey Mike,
they don't want Pro Mod, don't you get it? Why keep banging
your head against the wall? And begging?
The home for Pro Mod has been the IHRA, and will be regardless
of what the NHRA does or does not do.

Well, what's done is done; no sense in arguing with anyone.
I do feel Pro Mod gained spectators at NHRA events, sparked
new interest, and created more than an ample supply of bang
for the buck. They put forth a big effort on their side. Very
colorful, professional, down-to-earth atmosphere.
The other sanctioning body is better at getting-r-done with
Pro Mod. And there are plenty of tracks offering many big-buck
events that rely on them for their business. OUTLAW PRO MODIFIED
is in good shape, with or without NHRA.
Thank you.

On the Pro Mod NHRA discussion, it is just another example
of them keep knocking down the sportsman racers again. Someday
this is going to come back to haunt them. What are they going
to do if someday the sportsman racers

decide not to show up for one of their races then what are
they going to do? Or what would happen on one weekend the
bracket racers decided not to show up to any NHRA track? Probably
nothing but it would be interesting.
I recently got back from THE SUMMIT CLASSIC at Norwalk with
nothing but sportsman racers and we had one of the most enjoyable
weeks of racing I have ever had. Thank you for listening to
me whine.
