LOVE THAT FAST-FORWARD
I tape all the major drag racing, even if it comes on relatively
early. The shows usually are shortened or the show before
runs long, so I set the timer for about an hour and a half
longer. Usually the shows are 2-3 hours. If you tape them,
you can fast forward through commercials and all the other
talking by commentators, and actually watch JUST the racing
and it's over in about 90 min tops. Works for me.

MUST BE A RELATIVE, EH?
The project story of Muscrate by Jay Roeder is EXCELLENT
and the first thing I look for when I go to DRO. While I
like almost all aspects of DRO, I think this is my favourite.
Can you pass on to Jay for me, to keep up the excellent
writing, and great job!
Thanks,

DOT ADDITION
Jok, your recent article is the best I've seen on the topic.
Thank you. One thing I would add is that the motorhome exemption
is for "personal use only." The exemption appears
in the Pennsylvania CDL study manual. Another point could
be made that trailer lettering can complicate a hobby defense.
On
the fuel cargo, I believe you can carry up to 1,000 pounds
without a hazmat endorsement (H) and external signage. That's
well beyond what the normal racer would carry.
I am doing some checking on the hobby expense deduction
rules to confirm my suspicion that one can deduct certain
expenses up to the amount of their winnings on a personal
income tax filing. I will let you know what I find on this.
Again, thank you very much for an excellent article.

A PICTURE IS WORTH. . .
I hope someone forwarded the pictures of the fuelers slicks
in the lights in the Agent 1320 to Goodyear or the NHRA.
Doug's slicks looked like they were coming off the rim.
