or Whatever happened to good taste? Naw, it ain't that bad...

The month of September has been a grim month of history. For those of you who were not alive for the fireworks of December 1941, this month takes the biscuit since then for mind-altering, habit-forming circumstance. The sport of drag racing has been around for 50 years and has been relegated to the background only a few times since then by politics or catastrophe. That's what this quiz will feebly attempt to do ... take a bad thing and try and round off a few sharp edges with this emery board of trivia.
